Adorable, little milling job there -- stickered and kinbaku'd :-)

You'll probably get access to some nice fruit-woods with this kind of work ... planemakers and woodcutters (wood-prints) and other specialists pay good money for that. Gotta get the drying right, tho'.

Indeed I do get access to all that wood and this is one of the reasons I'm getting into tree surgery. Drying is the hard part and is an area that I'm least skilled in. I'm hoping my business will be able to sustain a small commercial unit by 2025 and once that happens drying (and selling) this kind of timber direct to wood workers will be one of the things I'll do. After I've kept all the good stuff for myself of course ; ) I'm even prepared to low-bid a job if the wood is good enough quality.

Glad you liked the milling job - I had a hoot doing it. The wood (maple) is now down to about 10%, so is nearly ready to be made into a little thing.

What to make?
